Biografija:

Jan Marcin Bansemer and Piotr Falkenhagen Zaleski were Polish refugees who collaborated on the 'Atlas Containing Ten Maps of Poland' published in 1837. They used the work of many other cartographers, including Auguste-Henri Dufour and Leonard Chodźko, to create this atlas. The atlas was intended to promote the Polish cause on the British Isles. Bansemer and Zaleski were already well-known for their contributions to the Polish community in London before working on this project.
