Biografija:

Marek Markowski was a Polish composer and conductor. He studied composition with Artur Malawski, Alec Rowley, Piotr Rytel, Tadeusz Szeligowski, and conducting with Tadeusz Wilczak and Witold Rowicki. He worked as a music tutor and director for several drama theatres and orchestras in Poland. Markowski was also the founder of the chamber orchestra in Cracow and organized concert cycles and festivals. He gave first performances of works by Polish composers such as Juliusz Łuciuk, Tadeusz Machl, and Grażyna Bacewicz.
