Matsui Sake Brewery, also known as Matsui Shuzō, is a sake brewery located in Kyoto, Japan. It was founded in 1726 and is one of the oldest sake breweries in Japan. The brewery is located amidst the 36 peaks of the Higashiyama mountain range and the Kamogawa River, with the Imperial Palace in its view. Matsui Sake Brewery offers tours in either Japanese or English. The brewery is known for producing high-quality sake that pairs well with food. Matsui Sake Brewery is also the first Sake Ninja accredited brewery in Japan, offering the Sake Ninja experience.
