Nikolay Rybakov is a Russian artist, born in 1947 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He is known for his paintings and graphic works, which often depict Siberian landscapes and themes. In the 1980s, he turned to archeological and ethnographic material to create his own mythology visually. He has had several exhibitions in Russia, including at the State Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg. He is also a member of the Russian United Democratic Party Yabloko and has been its leader since 2019. He is known for his political activism and advocacy for the protection of the rights of LGBT people in Russia.
