Seweryn Udziela (December 24, 1857 – September 26, 1937) was a Polish ethnographer and folklorist. He worked as a teacher and inspector of education in various locations in the former Galicia region. Udziela conducted extensive fieldwork and collected data on the culture and traditions of the people he encountered. He was a prolific writer and published numerous works on ethnography, including "Lud polski w powiecie ropczyckim w Galicji" (The Polish People in Ropczyce County in Galicia). Udziela was a member of the Commission for Anthropology at the Academy of Sciences and Arts. He was also one of the founders of the Ethnographic Museum in Krakow, which he donated his collection of ethnographic artifacts to. Udziela's work had a significant impact on the development of ethnography and folkloristics in Poland.
