Atsuhiko Misawa is a Japanese artist born in 1961 in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. He is best known for his series 'ANIMALS' which he began in 2000, featuring carved life-size animals statue of camphorwood that colored with oil. Misawa's artworks have been exhibited in several museums and galleries, including the Abeno Harukas Art Museum in Osaka, Japan, and the MutualArt website. He has also participated in the Meiji Jingu Forest Festival of Art and the Yamato Bunkakan.
