Leopoldo Perucchi was born in Bologna, Italy in 1872 and died in 1957. He was an Italian artist known for his decorative works in the temples and churches of Bologna. He intervened in the temple of Sacro Cuore and in the church of Santa Maria della Carità in 1913. He also created the artwork 'St. Giovanni Evangelist' in 1898.
