Biografi:

Ludwig & Briggs were a Brazilian-English lithography and engraving partnership consisting of Frederico Guilherme Briggs (1813-1870) and Pedro Ludwig (1816-?). They were both born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and learned lithography techniques in England. They established their partnership in Rio de Janeiro in 1837, and produced a wide range of works, including the 'Brazilian souvenir' album in 1845. Briggs died in 1870.
