Biografi:

Georgi Velchev was born in Varna, Bulgaria in 1891. He was a Bulgarian artist known for his seascapes. He was considered one of the best masters of sea scapes in Bulgaria. The Georgi Velchev Art Museum was established in 1991 in Varna to showcase his work. The museum has a collection of over 240 of his paintings and is open to the public. Velchev died in 1955.
