Pavel Petrovich Benkov was a Russian painter born in Moscow in 1879. He was a prominent figure in the Russian art scene during the early 20th century. Benkov was known for his landscapes and still lifes, often depicting scenes of everyday life. He was a member of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia and the Union of Russian Artists. Benkov's work was exhibited in Russia and abroad, and he received numerous awards for his contributions to the arts. He died in 1943.
