Da una parte c'è una fanciulla con due giovani in competizione per il suo favore . L'altro lato mostra un pescatore e un ragazzo seduti su un muro . paul storr fu il più grande argentiere inglese del periodo regency . Ha lavorato in stile neoclassico , spesso su progetto di noti scultori come john flaxman , ed è stato molto impiegato dalla famiglia reale . Oltre a produrre tazze e calici raffinati dal design semplice ed elegante , era abile nel realizzare pezzi di lastre di presentazione . questi erano molto richiesti per scopi commemorativi dopo le guerre napoleoniche .
