Dopo la rotta dell'esercito Daitya, il demone Raktabija attacca la dea Kali. Inizialmente, questo nemico sembrava invincibile perché con ogni goccia del suo sangue che cadde a terra un altro demone è spuntato. Tuttavia, l'emaciated Kali era in grado di consumare il sangue che cadeva, permettendo al demone di essere sconfitto.
