William e Jane Morris hanno usato sedie 'Sussex' nella loro prima casa di famiglia, Red House, e nella loro ultima casa di Londra, Kelmscott House a Hammersmith. Edward Burne-Jones ha usato anche sedie 'Sussex' nel suo studio di giardino a The Grange, Fulham.
