Abraham (Albert) Weinbaum was a Polish painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and later moved to Paris where he became part of the Ecole de Paris movement. Weinbaum's work was influenced by his Jewish heritage and his experiences during World War II. He was deported to Sobibor concentration camp, where he was killed in 1943. Weinbaum's artwork often depicted scenes from everyday life, as well as themes related to Jewish identity and the Holocaust.
