František Zajac is a Slovak painter and graphic artist, born in Svit in 1949. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where he specialized in painting and graphic art. After graduating, he worked as a teacher at the School of Applied Arts in Bratislava. In 1989, he became a member of the Slovak Union of Visual Artists. Zajac's work is characterized by his use of bright colors and bold brushstrokes. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad. His paintings and graphic works are represented in many private and public collections, including the National Gallery in Prague and the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava.
