Iman Issa is an Egyptian multi-disciplinary artist, born in Cairo in 1979. She is known for her work that explores the power of display in relation to academic and cultural institutions. Issa has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including Iman Issa: Heritage Studies at MACBA, Barcelona, and Iman Issa: Heritage Studies at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). Her videography has been featured at several international venues, such as the Transmediale, Berlin, and Tate Modern, London. She is currently a part-time professor at the Cooper Union's School of Arts and lives and works between Cairo and New York City.
