Ko Ilung is a South Korean artist born in Busan in 1937. He is a member of the Presbyterian Church in Korea (HapDong) and has been a board member and judge of the Busan Art Festival and the Korean Art Festival. Initially focused on landscape painting, he later turned his attention to abstract art, using the technique of su-eom (water and ink) to express his thoughts on the origins of art and the essence of life. Ko Ilung's work has been exhibited in South Korea and internationally.
