Xu Qu is a Chinese artist born in Beijing in 1983. He studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Xu Qu's work often explores the relationship between the individual and society, as well as the impact of globalization on contemporary China. He has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, and the Today Art Museum in Beijing. Xu Qu currently lives and works in Beijing.
