Octavio Vicent was a Spanish sculptor and occasional fallero artist. He was born on December 25, 1913, in Valencia, Spain, and died on October 20, 1999, in the same city. His father, Carmelo Vicent, was also a sculptor, and Octavio began his training under him. In 1930, he entered the San Fernando School of Painting and later obtained the Piquer pension by opposition. Vicent's work is known for its figurative style, and he was recognized with several awards, including the National Prize for Sculpture.
