Stanislao Di Giugno is an Italian painter born in Rome in 1969. He began his career as a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to figurative painting, then turned to collage, installation, video, and since 2014 he has focused exclusively on painting. His work is characterized by a drastic reduction of elements, concentrating on the materiality of painting and achieving a dichotomy between the plasticity of substance and abstraction of form.
