Nagata Shunsui was a Japanese artist who studied under Araki Jippo, Terasaki Kogyo and Yuki Somei. He graduated from the Japanese Painting Department of the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. Nagata's artwork includes 'Hawk' in 1942 and 'Branch of Flowering Plum' in 1925.
