Gonario Denti is an Italian artist born in Ottana, Sardinia, Italy in 1970. He grew up in a family that was involved in preserving traditional Sardinian culture and customs. Denti is known for his work as a sculptor, particularly for his creation of masks for the Ottana Carnival in Sardinia. His mask 'Boe (bullock)' was created in 2005 and is made out of a single piece of wood. In addition to his sculpting work, Denti also plays the accordion and has performed traditional music from Ottana.
