Gustav Adolph Mordt was a Norwegian painter born in Oslo in 1826 and died in the same city in 1856. He was a landscape painter who studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and later with Hans Gude in Düsseldorf. He painted romantic landscapes and was a member of the Artists' Association in Christiania. His work has been sold at auction for prices ranging from 337 USD to 1,987 USD.
