Johann Nepomuk Passini was an Austrian copperplate engraver, lithographer, genre and landscape painter. He was born in Wien, Austria in 1798 and died in Gratz / Graz, Austria in 1874. He was a Romantic artist known for his engravings and lithographs, as well as his genre and landscape paintings. He was also the father of Ludwig Passini.
