Biografie:

Li Fengting was a Chinese artist born in Dongguan, Guangdong province. He received his first lessons in poetry and painting from his father. Li soon set up his own art school and sculpture workshop and was a master craftsman. He specialized in seal-carving and connoisseurship in ancient jade and bronze wares. In 1923, Li and his fellow artists established Guihai Year Co-operative in Guangzhou, which later expanded into the Guangdong Painting Society. In the late 1940s, Li settled permanently in Hong Kong.
