Andrew Esiebo is a Nigerian photographer born in 1978. He started out in photography by chronicling the rapid development of urban Nigeria and various social issues such as sexuality, gender politics, football, popular culture, and immigration. His work has gained international recognition and has been exhibited at several biennales and festivals around the world. Esiebo has also explored video and multimedia work beyond his freelance photography career. He is a winner of the Musee du Quai Branly Artistic creation prize and has been nominated for several other awards.
