Dora Salazar is a Spanish sculptor born in Altsasu, Navarre, Spain in 1963. She graduated in Fine Art from the University of the Basque Country and earned a Doctorate in Sculpture. Salazar has received several awards for her work, including the Gure Artea First Prize for Sculpture and the Strasbourg's "L"Art Contemporain" International Salon Prize. Her sculptures are known for their exploration of femininity and the human form, often blending elements of Greek antiquity with modern themes. She has exhibited her work in galleries and museums throughout Spain and internationally, and her pieces can be found in public spaces and private collections.
