Biografia:

James D. Butler was born in 1945 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. He is an artist living and working in Bloomington, Illinois. Butler has numerous outstanding accomplishments in his art career, including exhibiting his work widely in 40 solo exhibitions and teaching lithography at Illinois State University from 1976 to 2009. He is known for his landscape paintings and prints, including the oil on canvas painting 'A Prairie Vista' (1991).
