Biografia:

P.V. Janakiram was an Indian artist born in 1930 in India and died in 1995. He was a student of K.C.S. Paniker and S. Dhanapal, and was an important member of the Madras Art Movement. He developed a distinctive idiom, in which he used beaten sheet metal to create sculptures. His artworks are exhibited in several auctions and exhibitions, and are part of the collections of several museums and art galleries. He is known for his sculptures such as 'Rider' (1961), 'The Farmer' (n.d.), and others.
