Biografia:

Albert Henry Payne was a London-born steel engraver who moved to Leipzig in 1839 and became a citizen in 1845. He founded a publishing company in Leipzig called Englische Kunsthandlung and was known for his paintings and illustrations. Payne was also a topographical engraver on steel and worked in Leipzig as a publisher. He died in Leipzig in 1902.
