Bjarke Ingels is a Danish architect born in 1974 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is the founder of the firm BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) in 2005. He is known for his innovative and playful designs that combine architecture, urbanism, landscape, and technology. Ingels has received numerous awards for his work, including the Prix européen pour l'architecture in 2010 and the Médaille C. F. Hansen in 2017. He is also a professor at the Yale School of Architecture.
