Carlito Carvalhosa is a Brazilian artist born in São Paulo in 1961. He is a painter, sculptor, and designer. In the 80s, he was one of the founders of the 'Casa7' group. He has participated in two São Paulo Biennials (1985 and 1994) and his works are part of important collections, such as the MOMA's. He is known for his abstract and minimalist style, often using monochromatic colors and simple geometric shapes. His works are influenced by Brazilian modernism and conceptual art.
