Claudio Ridolfi, also known as Claudio Veronese, was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. Born in Verona to a noble family in 1570, he was active mainly in Rome and Urbino. As a pupil of the painters Dario Pozzo and Paolo Veronese, Claudio Veronese's style was influenced by the Venetian school of painting.
