Biografia:
David Lhôneray was a French enamel painter born in Paris in 1741 and died in 1806. He was a student of Jean-Louis Richard and became a master enamel painter in 1766. He specialized in miniatures and portraits, often on snuffboxes. He was a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts and exhibited at the Salon from 1767 to 1787. He was also a teacher and had several students, including Jean-Baptiste Isabey and Jean-Baptiste Jacques Augustin.
