Eke Okaybulu was a self-taught Nigerian artist from the then Eastern Nigeria. He was born in 1916 in Ebem Ohafia, Abia State, Nigeria and died in 1958. He had little formal training unlike a lot of his contemporaries at the time who had college education. He was known for his textbook illustrations for Longman Publishers and was also known for his paintings such as 'Mother and Child' and 'Atilogwu Dancers'. He was a reputable artist that had to his credit, several textbook illustrations for Longman Publishers. He was also known for his paintings such as 'Mother and Child' and 'Atilogwu Dancers'.
