Biografia:

Gaetano Koch was an Italian architect born in Rome in 1849. He made his name with several major works in Rome, including Palazzo Koch, seat of the Banca d'Italia, the two porticoed palazzi which form Piazza della Repubblica, and the central Piazza Vittorio. He also designed the decoration of the main hall of the Palazzo Comunale at Recanati. Koch collaborated with others in the design of the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II. He died in Rome in 1910.
