Biografia:

Jean Gaberell was a Swiss photographer born in Arth in 1887 and died in Thalwil ZH in 1949. He was one of fourteen children of the family. Gaberell learned photography from the photographer Wehrli in Thalwil and worked there for several years. He then opened his own business in Villa Bellavista, Sonnenbergstrasse in Thalwil. Gaberell specialized in mountain photography, taking pictures of landscapes and mountains. He is known for his black and white photographs of the Swiss Alps.
