Biografia:

Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek was a Dutch artist. He was the son of artist Hermanus Koekkoek, brother of Willem Koekkoek, and nephew of Barend Cornelis Koekkoek. His grandfather was the painter Johannes Hermanus Koekkoek.
Koekkoek started painting in the romantic tradition of his father but after 1864 he changed his style to a kind of realism, under influence of the Hague School.
