Biografia:

Jakob Mennel was an Austrian jurist, historian and genealogist. He is best known for his work "Fürstliche Chronik", a history of the House of Habsburg in verse form. Mennel also wrote a gereimte Anleitung zum Schachspiel (Schachzabel Spiel), which was based on the work of Konrad von Ammenhausen and printed in 1520.
