Marzena Nowak is a WEBPainter, author of videos and installations. She was born in 1977 in Piaseczno, Poland. She lives and works in Warsaw, Poland and Casablanca, Morocco. Her artistic research focuses mainly on the intersection of memory, imagination, and the passage of time. She has had over 14 solo shows and 50 group exhibitions in the last 20 years. She is also known as Marzena Kipiel-Sztuka, a Polish stage and television actress who was born in 1965 and died in 2024. She was best known for her role as Halina Kiepska, one of the main characters in the sitcom television series The Lousy World (1999–2022).
