Roberto Aizenberg was an Argentine painter and sculptor born in Villa Federal, Entre Ríos in 1928. He died in Buenos Aires in 1996. He is considered one of the main representatives of surrealism in South America, with a style influenced by architecture and characterized by the representation of polyhedral constructions in a desert and mysterious atmosphere. He is the father of the chemist Joanna Aizenberg.
