Biografia:

Yov Kondzelevych was a Ukrainian monk of the Bilostok Monastery near the town of Lutsk in Volhynia. He was born in Zhovkva, Galicia in 1667 and died in Lutsk, Volhynia in 1740. He was a noted icon painter and elder of the Bilostok Monastery in Volhynia. After his training at the Zhovkva School of Artists, he probably studied painting at the Kyivan Cave Monastery Icon Painting Workshop. He is known for his 17 artworks in the fresco style, including the 'Icon of the Savior from the village of Horodyshche in Volhynia' (late 17th century) and 'Christ's Baptism' (1696).
