Benni Bosetto is an Italian artist born in Merate, Italy in 1987. She lives and works in Milan, Italy. Benni Bosetto studied at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan and at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. Her artistic practice involves wall paintings, drawings, performances, sculptures, and installations where she deconstructs and reimagines the body. The corporeality she represents is constantly evolving, dissolving into other species, genera, and temples, forming an eternal tale. Reality breaks into infinite reverberations of mirroring fragments in a multiplicity that reaffirms human beings as compost and being-with-others. Benni Bosetto maintains a sensual and therapeutic approach, almost holistic, enveloping viewers in an intimate trance-state where time feels suspended. She abandons objectivity and monolithic explanations for a fragmented conception of reality, the space of possibility.
