Leticia Banegas, also known as Leticia Huijara, is a Mexican actress born in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico in 1967. She studied Dramatic Literature and Theatre at the UNAM and began her acting career in 1987. She has won several awards, including the Ariel for Best Actress for the film 'Por si no te vuelvo a ver' and the award for best leading actress of television given by the National Circle of Journalists for the telenovela 'Los Sanchez'. She has been featured in various films and telenovelas, and has also worked as a director and playwright. She is known for her work in theater, including productions such as 'Baño de damas', 'Los delitos insignificantes', and 'Juntos y Felices'. She has been nominated for several awards, including the Ariel Awards and the TVyNovelas Awards.
