Vittorio Tavernari was an Italian sculptor. He studied at the Scuola del Marmo from 1935 to 1938 and became a prominent figure in the realism movement of post-World War II Italy. His works often featured human figures, particularly torsos, and he experimented with various materials such as wood, bronze, cement, and marble. Tavernari's art was exhibited at prestigious institutions like the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.
