Agnieszka Kurant is a Polish interdisciplinary conceptual artist. She was born in Łódź, Poland in 1978 and studied at the University of Łódź. Kurant holds an MA in Curating from Goldsmiths College in London. Her work explores the economy of the invisible, creating imaginary locations, information systems, facts, and realities. She has exhibited widely, including the Venice Biennale 12th International Architecture Exhibition, and her work is in the permanent collection of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Kurant is represented by Tanya Bonakdar Gallery in New York, where she lives and works.
