Amaya Arzuaga Urquijo is a Spanish designer born in Lerma, Spain, in 1970. She studied fashion design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and joined her parents' enterprise, Elipse, in 1992. In 1994, she created her own firm and started selling and showing her collections in international fashion fairs. Amaya Arzuaga has more than 200 boutiques in Spain and has received several prizes, including the Primer Premio Cibeles and the Medalla de oro al mérito en las Bellas Artes de 2005.
