Jacques Legros was born on July 25, 1951, in Lapugnoy, Pas-de-Calais. He is a French journalist who has worked for various media outlets including Radio France Vaucluse, France Info, RTL, LCI, and TF1. Jacques Legros started his career by writing articles for La Voix du Nord during his high school years. After completing his studies in law, he began working as a journalist on Radio France Vaucluse and later joined France Info. He then worked at RTL for several years before moving to LCI where he became the deputy editor-in-chief. In 1998, he started presenting the 13h news on TF1, replacing Jean-Pierre Pernaut. Jacques Legros has also presented other programs such as Suspect numéro 1 and took over the presentation of the 13h news during Jean-Pierre Pernaut's confinement due to COVID-19.
