Jules Hardouin-Mansart (15 April 1646 – 11 May 1708) was a French architect and designer, who was the principal French architect of the late Baroque and early Rococo periods. He was the premier architect of King Louis XIV, and was responsible for many of the most important architectural projects of the Ancien Régime. He was the nephew and pupil of François Mansart, and was the father of Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne.
