Yumi Karasumaru is a Japanese artist born in Osaka. She lives and works in Bologna, Italy, and Kawanishi, Japan. She is known for her sculpture 'Paravento Facing Histories – An artistic study of the fusion between medieval Japanese art and contemporary art (2016)'. She is inspired by DaiGo, a young Japanese YouTuber, mentalist, and author.
